Ebury Street SW1
Extends from Pimlico Road to Grosvenor Gardens on the border of Pimlico and Belgravia. It was built on land belonging to Ebury farm in 1820. It was down this way that George III and his family walked to the Chelsea Bun House. At No. 180 the eight year old Mozart wrote his first symphony in 1764-5. George Moore, the Irish writer and author of Conversations in Ebury Street, lived at No. 121. Tennison stayed at No. 42 in 1847. The Ebury Court Hotel (38 bedrooms) is at No. 26.
